Description +
Recognizable by its curved tusks and unique appearance, the warthog is a quintessential inhabitant of the African savannas. This cousin of the wild boar is distinguished by its massive head, bony growths called "warts," and bristly mane.
An opportunistic herbivore, it primarily feeds on grasses, roots, and fruits, but doesn't hesitate to dig into the ground with its powerful snout to find food. A surprising fact: when it runs to escape a predator, the warthog raises its long tail like an antenna, allowing other members of the group to follow it easily. It also spends a large part of the day in burrows to protect itself from the heat and dangers.
This Papo figurine realistically reproduces the warthog: impressive tusks, textured fur, and a dynamic pose. An ideal model to enrich a collection of wild animals, invent stories in the heart of the savanna, or raise children's awareness of the diversity of African wildlife.
